36 U.S.C. § 121 — National Disability Employment Awareness Month

- (a)DesignationOctober is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
- (b)CeremoniesAppropriate ceremonies shall be held throughout the United States during National Disability Employment Awareness Month to enlist public support for, and interest in, the employment of workers with disabilities who are otherwise qualified. Governors, mayors, heads of other governmental entities, and interested organizations and individuals are invited to participate in the ceremonies.
- (c)ProclamationThe President is requested to issue each year a suitable proclamation.
