36 U.S.C. § 140302

1. (1)to safeguard and strengthen the forces of faith and morality of our Nation;
2. (2)to perpetuate and deepen the bonds of understanding and friendship of our military service;
3. (3)to preserve our spiritual influence and interest in all members and veterans of the Armed Forces;
4. (4)to uphold the Constitution of the United States; and
5. (5)to promote justice, peace, and good will.
