36 U.S.C. § 140702 — Organization

1. (a)Federal CharterMilitary Order of the World Wars (in this chapter, the “corporation”), a nonprofit corporation incorporated in the District of Columbia, is a federally chartered corporation.
2. (b)Expiration of CharterThe charter granted by this chapter expires if the corporation fails to comply with any provision of—
   1. (1)its bylaws or articles of incorporation;
   2. (2)this chapter; or
   3. (3)the laws of the District of Columbia that apply to corporations such as the corporation recognized under this chapter.
