As used in this subpart:
  1. (a)Welder and welding operator mean any operator of electric or gas welding and cutting equipment.
  2. (b)Approved means listed or approved by a nationally recognized testing laboratory. Refer to § 1910.155(c)(3) for definitions of listed and approved, and § 1910.7 for nationally recognized testing laboratory.
