This subpart governs:
  1. (a)Series EE and Series I book-entry savings bonds that were originally issued as book-entry bonds through TreasuryDirect ®; and
  2. (b)Converted savings bonds that are registered in:
    1. (1)The single owner or entity form of registration of any series,
    2. (2)The owner with beneficiary form of registration of Series EE and Series I savings bonds,
    3. (3)The owner with beneficiary form of registration of Series E savings bonds in which the beneficiary has consented to a change in the registration of the bond after conversion, and
    4. (4)The coowner form of registration of any series in which the non-converting coowner has consented to a change in the registration of the bond after conversion.
