  1. (a)This part applies to—
    1. (1)The Office of the General Counsel of the Department of Defense and the Military Departments.
    2. (2)Any person or entity making a request for indemnification or defense, or providing notice to DoD, of a third-party claim pursuant to section 330 or section 1502(e).
  2. (b)In the case of a property that is subject to an earlier agreement containing different notification requirements, the requirement for notice to the Deputy General Counsel in sections 175.5 and 175.6 are in addition to those notification requirements.
  3. (c)Nothing in this part alters the provisions of § 174.15 of this title.
