EPA may take one or more of the following actions, under 2 CFR 200.339, depending on the circumstances:
  1. (a)Temporarily withhold advance payments until you correct the deficiency;
  2. (b)Not allow your group to receive reimbursement for all or part of the activity or action not in compliance;
  3. (c)Wholly or partly “suspend” your group's award;
  4. (d)Withhold further awards (meaning, funding) for the project or program;
  5. (e)Take enforcement action;
  6. (f)Place special conditions in your grant agreement; and
  7. (g)Take other remedies that may be legally available.
