  1. (a)Purpose of section. Sections 35.680 through 35.688 govern underground water source protection grants to Tribes and Intertribal Consortia under section 1443(b) of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
  2. (b)Purpose of program. The Underground Water Source Protection grants are awarded to carry out underground water source protection programs.
  3. (c)Associated program regulations. Associated program regulations are found in 40 CFR parts 124, 144, 145, 146, and 147.
