40 CFR §61.351

  1. (a)As an alternative to the standards for tanks specified in § 61.343 of this subpart, an owner or operator may elect to comply with one of the following:
    1. (1)A fixed roof and internal floating roof meeting the requirements in 40 CFR 60.112b(a)(1);
    2. (2)An external floating roof meeting the requirements of 40 CFR 60.112b (a)(2); or
    3. (3)An alternative means of emission limitation as described in 40 CFR 60.114b.
  2. (b)If an owner or operator elects to comply with the provisions of this section, then the owner or operator is exempt from the provisions of § 61.343 of this subpart applicable to the same facilities.
