40 CFR §62.14605

1. (a)You must obtain operator qualification by completing a training course that satisfies the criteria under § 62.14595(b) or (c).
2. (b)Qualification is valid from the date on which the training course is completed and the operator successfully passes the examination required under § 62.14595(c)(2).
