40 CFR §721.11068

1. (a)Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.
   1. (1)The chemical substance identified as alkanes, C20-28, chloro (PMN P-12-277, CAS No. 2097144-43-7) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in paragraph (a)(2) of this section.
   2. (2)The significant new uses are:
      1. (i)Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities. It is a significant new use to use the substance for other than as a flame retardants and plasticizers in polyvinyl chloride, polymers, and rubber; flame retardant, plasticizer, and lubricant in adhesives, caulk, sealants, and coatings; additive in lubricants including metalworking fluids; and flame retardant and waterproofer in textiles; and a confidential adhesives additive use. It is a significant new use to manufacture the chemical substance more than 5 years.

2. (b)Specific requirements. The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph (b).
   1. (1)Recordkeeping. Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § 721.125(a) through (c) and (i) are applicable to manufacturers and processors of this substance.
   2. (2)Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements. The provisions of § 721.185 apply to this section.
