  1. (a)Chemical substances and significant new uses subject to reporting.
    1. (1)The chemical substances ethane, 2-chloro-1,1,1-trifluoro- (CAS Number 75-88-7) and ethane, 1,2-dichloro-1,1-difluoro- (CAS Number 1649-08-7) are subject to reporting under this section for the significant new use described in paragraph (a)(2) of this section.
    2. (2)The significant new use is: Use other than as an intermediate.
