  1. (a)States must specify the conditions under which a participant may be involuntarily disenrolled from the self-directed PAS option.
  2. (b)CMS must approve the State's conditions under which a participant may be involuntarily disenrolled.
  3. (c)The State must specify in the section 1915(j) State plan amendment the safeguards that are in place to ensure continuity of services during the transition from self-directed PAS.
