Unless otherwise provided, each marking required in this subpart must be—
  1. (a)Printed in English;
  2. (b)In red letters with a contrasting background;
  3. (c)Permanent;
  4. (d)Easy to be seen;
  5. (e)At least 1.3 centimeters ( 1/2 inch) in height.
