  1. (a)Each unit must be fitted with anchors, chains, wire rope, and hawsers in agreement with the standards established by the American Bureau of Shipping.
  2. (b)Units which are equipped with anchors used as operational equipment are not required to have additional anchors if the operational anchors meet the requirements of paragraph (a) of this section.
