A space for the stowage or mixing of paint must not have any electric equipment, except:
  1. (a)Intrinsically safe electric equipment approved for a Class I, Division 1, Group D (Zone 0 or Zone 1) location;
  2. (b)Explosionproof electric equipment approved for a Class I, Division 1, Group D (Zone 0 or Zone 1) location; or
  3. (c)Through runs of marine shipboard cable.
