  1. (a)Wire must be in an enclosure.
  2. (b)Wire must be component insulated.
  3. (c)Wire, other than in switchboards, must meet the requirements in ANSI/UL 44, ANSI/UL 83, MIL-DTL-76E (all three standards incorporated by reference; see § 110.10-1 of this subchapter), or equivalent standard.
  4. (d)Switchboard wire must meet subpart 111.30 of this part.
  5. (e)Wire must be of the copper stranded type.
