  1. (a)General. Each inflatable lifejacket must be able to pass the tests in § 160.176-13 of this part.
  2. (b)Snag Hazard. The lifejacket must not present a snag hazard when properly worn.
  3. (c)Chamber Attachment. Each inflation chamber on or inside an inflatable lifejacket must not be able to be moved to a position that-
    1. (1)Prevents full inflation; or
    2. (2)Allows inflation in a location other than in its intended location.
  4. (d)Comfort. The lifejacket must not cause significant discomfort to the wearer during and after inflation.
