Employees electing to credit NAFI service under this subpart must:
  1. (a)Inform the NAFI retirement plan that they are electing to credit NAFI service for CSRS or FERS retirement eligibility;
  2. (b)Document the election on a form prescribed by OPM; and
  3. (c)Submit the election with their application for immediate retirement.
