Except where the context otherwise requires, for the purposes of this subpart the following terms shall be construed, respectively, to mean: Chicks. Newly hatched ostriches, emus, rheas, or cassowaries. Ostrich. Birds of the species Struthio camelus, including all subspecies and subspecies hybrids.
