In this subchapter:
- (1)DepartmentThe term “Department” means the Department of Energy.
- (2)Institution of higher educationThe term “institution of higher education” has the meaning given the term in section 1001(a) of title 20.
- (3)National LaboratoryThe term “National Laboratory” has the meaning given the term in section 15801 of this title.
- (4)SecretaryThe term “Secretary” means the Secretary of Energy.
