In this chapter:
- (1)DepartmentThe term “Department” means the Department of Energy.
- (2)DirectorThe term “Director” means the Director of the Office of Science of the Department, except as otherwise indicated.
- (3)National LaboratoryThe term “National Laboratory” has the meaning given that term in section 15801 of this title.
- (4)SecretaryThe term “Secretary” means the Secretary of Energy.
