In this chapter:
- (1)Common carrierThe term “common carrier” has the meaning given that term in section 40102 of this title.
- (2)Passenger vesselThe term “passenger vessel” has the meaning given that term in section 2101 of this title.
- (3)SecretaryThe term “Secretary” means the Secretary of the department in which the Coast Guard is operating.
