51 U.S.C. § 70703 — Tasks of Commission

1. (1)InvestigationInvestigate the incident.
2. (2)CauseDetermine the cause of the incident.
3. (3)Contributing factorsIdentify all contributing factors to the cause of the incident.
4. (4)RecommendationsMake recommendations for corrective actions.
5. (5)Additional findings or recommendationsProvide any additional findings or recommendations deemed by the Commission to be important, whether or not they are related to the specific incident under investigation.
6. (6)ReportPrepare a report to Congress, the President, and the public.
