  1. (a)The Secretary calculates annual rankings of center performance based on the performance management system described in § 686.1000 as part of the annual performance assessment described in § 686.1000(c).
  2. (b)The Secretary will issue annual guidance that communicates the methodology for calculating the performance rankings for the year.
