1. (a)Chemical substances and significant new uses subject to reporting.
   1. (1)The chemical substances identified as 2-ethoxyethanol (CAS No. 110-80-5), 2-ethoxyethanol acetate (CAS No. 111-15-9), 2-methoxyethanol (CAS No. 109-86-4), and 2-methoxyethanol acetate (CAS No. 110-49-6) are subject to reporting under this section for the significant new use described in paragraph (a)(2) of this section.
   2. (2)The significant new use is domestic use in a consumer product or the manufacture or import of 2-methoxyethanol acetate at levels greater than 10,000 pounds per year.
2. (b)Specific requirements. The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.
   1. (1)Recordkeeping. Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § 721.125 (a), (b), and (c) apply to the significant new use specified in § 721.10001. In addition, records documenting compliance with the significant new use of domestic use in a consumer product or the manufacture or import of 2-methoxyethanol acetate at levels greater than 10,000 pounds per year must be maintained.
